Say 'Thank You' to a Soldier

At this Thanksgiving time, we have so many blessings for which to be thankful.  One of these priceless blessings that we enjoy is freedom in a promised land.  To those servicemen and women who defend these freedoms, we say 'thank you' and pray for their safety.  Many individuals in our ward have family members currently serving, have served previously, or may be preparing to serve.  We are all blessed by their courage and love of God, country, and liberty.  May we remember them in our daily prayers!

Another way we can thank them for their bravery, sacrifice, and tireless service is by going to the following website:  http://www.letssaythanks.com/  Xerox (R) will print and send a thank you card to service men and women FREE of charge.  All you have to do is follow 3 easy steps:  1) Go to the website:  http://www.letssaythanks.com/ ,
2) Choose a card and personalize, 3) Click 'Send.' (It's free.)  How simple is that?  What an easy, yet meaningful way to thank our soldiers!  Share this with your family and friends!

Thanksgiving and Updates

"Brothers and sisters, my sincere prayer is that we may adapt to the changes in our lives, that we may realize what is most important, that we may express our gratitude always and thus find joy in the journey." (President Thomas S. Monson, Ensign, Nov. 2008)

~Happy Thanksgiving (early), Sisters!  We wish you a special day filled with cherished memories, beloved family and friends, and grateful hearts.  We have been blessed with a "cornucopia" of love, relationships, beauty, conveniences, and the priceless gift of having the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives.  May we go forth and share our blessings with others!  May you also know how grateful we are for each of you!

~Relief Society Meetings update:
Due to Thanksgiving, there will be no Yoga this week.  Book Club has also been postponed until December.  Stay tuned for updates regarding December classes and activities.

If you have ideas for a class/activity you'd like to participate, please feel free to let one of the Relief Society Meetings Committee know.  We're always open to new ideas that support our sisters!
